Aunt "Betty" was always "ready" for her country nieces and nephews. After working hard all day at "the store" they would pack us all up and take us to Pontchartrain Beach until late that night. Her dirty rice and pork roast was the best ever but Betty and Uncle Elliot would never forget to bring us a long french bread and world famous roast beef.We all loved Aunt Betty and Uncle Elliot.
